Wszyscy jesteśmy poszukiwaczami skarbów. Ja uwielbiam skarby pocztówkowe, ale nie zawsze jest mi dane, abym mogła spokojnie tych skarbów poszukać. Tutaj moja małą przygoda z Wilna i kilka przemyśleń na ten temat. Czy spotkaliście się z podobną szorstkością ze strony sprzedawców staroci.

We are all treasure-hunters. I adore postcard treasures but I am not always allowed to look for them calmly in peace. Here is my my little adventure from Wilnius - Lithuania and my thoughts on the subject.  Did you ever experience this some kind of roughness from the antique sellers (especially on the flea markets)?

Love Couple Vintage old postcard by E. Wedel chocolate manufacturer

This card was most probably issued as a part of advertising or promotional campaign by Polish producer of chocolate, bonbons and sweets before 1939. The card is clear on the back and the word "Paryskie" is a brand of chocolates sold in Poland. Nice picture of the couple is pleasing to the eye. Now, that I have done awawy with almost all of these cards (these=beauties, girls in fluffy furs wearing big hats, lovely couples etc), this litte one presents itself as a perfect add to my monothematic collection.

Gruss Vom Krampus TEUFEL DEVIL POSTKARTEN Postcards

For many it has been a lovely subject for collectors. Krampus - Devil postcards full of humor and special magnetism that attracted even me  ....here are some newer and less expensieve examples of postcards with the playful devil .....All of them published in Austria - middle 60-ies. Available on ebay for average of USD2 - 6. 

Look at the postcard featuring also the superstar Marilyn Monroe -....what a couple ....!
