    Dear Anna,
    There are lots Chinese characters. But they are not Chinese.
    They are Japanese. They are playing "Kemari" (Originated from ancient China)
    At 1907, Chinese people (Ching-Dynasty) still keep long hair and make it as "pig tail" after their head.
    Please Googlr the photos by "Kemari" or check it in Wiki. They will bring your to current event still happening in Japan now.
